If records are made to be broken, then Miami’s luxury real estate market is achieving this left, right and center. The booming property market in South Florida has continued to go from strength-to-strength in recent months, with no signs of slowing down.

The Latest Edition

Showing positive signs of a buoyant market, Miami Beach’s exclusive Edition Residences sold last December after two years on the market. The stunning modern property developed by hotel investor Ian Schrager, sits in one of the most stunning spots on Miami beach, benefitting from all the local attractions on its doorstep. Of these, the most expensive luxury condo for sale in Miami went for $5 million, which works out at $1,814 per square foot.

The $50 Million Miami-Dade Property

It was reported earlier this year that a 10-bedroom property in the uber-exclusive Indian Creek Island, sold for a whopping $50 million. The Miami mansion for sale was said to be the most paid for a single-family house in the area. With every modern amenity you could hope for, including its own personal theater and 100-foot swimming pool, it will go down in history as one of the most lucrative deals for the island.

Another One!

In September 2018, music producer DJ Khaled was the latest celebrity to put down roots in Miami. His reported investment – a cool $25.9 million has bought him one of the most sought-after and modern waterfront properties in Miami beach.

Spanning 13,000 square feet, the mansion on Pine Tree Drive is well located to all the action of Miami Beach, on the Indian Creek Waterway. Another property record was smashed in recent months, on a five-bedroom two-storey townhouse at 3301 Santa Maria Condominium. At $5.35 million it’s the highest ever price paid for a townhome in the building, as well as the first multi-listing service recoded sale over the $5m price tag that Brickell has seen in more than two years. As you would expect from Miami luxury condos, the property offers unobstructed views across the Biscayne Bay, four luxurious en-suite bedrooms and a wet bar, set across two delightful floors.

Modern Masterpiece

Finally, one of the latest Miami beach mansions for sale – 73 Palm Avenue – struck an impressive $24 million when it sold in February.
